Zero Hunger
Each year, households in Sweden discard approximately 15 kilograms of edible food per person. The most commonly wasted items include fruits, vegetables, bread, and leftovers.
Reducing food waste worldwide is a crucial contribution to the climate, which is why the UN has set a goal in Agenda 2030 to halve global food waste and minimize losses throughout the entire food supply chain.
Project Goals
Promote Knowledge and Education on Food Waste
Contribute to knowledge and education about food waste, fostering awareness and understanding.
Improve Access to Nutritious Food for All
Help people access healthy and nutritious food, regardless of their background, contributing to a better world.
Increase Engagement and Action Against Food Waste
Boost people's interest and engagement by providing easily accessible tips and tricks to reduce food waste.
The homepage provides users with a clear purpose of the app and features a prominent 'Shop Now' call-to-action button. Below, users can discover nearby stores to shop from.
Our vision with the app is to provide an opportunity for customers to find discounted food while making a positive environmental impact. With easy access to products and educational resources, we aim to inspire active engagement in environmental issues.
